Meanwhile, Sister of the Thorn was belligerently strong from release until the patch a few weeks ago. E.g., I don't think anyone that knows what they're talking about would argue that witch hunter captain is ineffective or completely supreme. There's a few careers that have been well rounded and effective for quite some time. Fatshark tends to be a bit heavy handed with buffs/nerfs in general, so balance swings around a lot. I think its the whole picture though - of the career skill, passives, and talents. You could certainly shore up baseline weaknesses via talents.
